UC Social Media Week (University of Cincinnati)
UC hosted its first UC Social Media Week Feb. 23-27, 2015. The concept is based off of the global event that took place at the same time, but the event was only possible thanks my entry in an ideas competitition on campus called UC Invents. The event garnered local press and eight stories in UC's student paper, The News Record. The next UC Social Media Week will take place fall 2015.

Cincinnati Smart (University of Cincinnati)
In August 2013, UC started its first grassroots marketing campaign, Cincinnati Smart. For this campaign, I collected stories for the website, planned events on campus and grew the conversation about the campaign via social media.
Social Media (University of Cincinnati)
Twitter (Fun, Holiday tweets)

#UCGrad14
During the University of Cincinnati commencement ceremonies in 2014, social media played a large role. The hashtag (#UCGrad14) was created for ceremonies and social media posts were monitored and displayed on screens in Fifth Third Arena (where the ceremony takes place) through Tint. It trended on Twitter in Cincinnati and the U.S. during all of the the ceremonies in 2014.
Twitter Chats (#UCBound & #BearcatsChat)
UC hosted Twitter chats for the first time May-September 2014. The goal was for the UC community to connect and interact with each other before the next academic year. These chats gained a lot of engagement and will be continued in 2015. Learn more here.

UC Influence (University of Cincinnati)

UC Influence (a student pr firm for UC PRSSA) did a campaign for Sara Spins. Our goal was to spread awareness across campus about people with disabilities and accessibility. I planned a grilled cheese fundraiser (Cheesin' for a Reason), which raised $150.

In fall 2013, our campaign was on Women's Football (Soccer) in Qatar. Since Qatar is hosting the first Fifa World Cup in the Middle East, they want to encourage more women to play the sport by getting their interest at an early age.

Our campaign for spring 2014 focused on creating a communications and awareness plan for someone interested in forming a non-profit that fights Sex Trafficking.

We worked on a campaign fall 2014 for Credit Karma. Our goal was to bring more awareness about credit and financial wellness to the University of Cincinnati campus and to encourage them to check their credit scores for free through Credit Karma.
